Returning to Lepidstadt, our heroes trace down the origin of the mysterious surgical tools found in Morast. They go over their defense strategy with Gustav, and the Beast gets a name.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In this episode, the Beast recites a piece of Taldane poetry. Not having access to the great poets of Taldor, I have borrowed from one of the Romantic poets of Earth – George Gordon, Lord Byron. The poem the Beast recites is the first stanza of “When We Two Parted,” written in 1816 CE. This poem is in the public domain.

Episode 39 – Beasts, and Manticores, and Corpses. Oh my!
In the boneyard of Morast, the party discovers a number of disturbing clues and evidence about that transpired a year ago. But does the evidence help to prove the Beast’s innocence? Or does it condemn it further?
IMPORTANT NOTE: In this episode, one of the players made use of the “X” card when a scene became too disturbing for them. The X card is one of several tools that can be used to enhance your games – especially when dealing with sensitive topics – to help create a safe space to explore and play while not triggering anyone at the table. We’ve been using the X-card for awhile, and not needed it before this episode, but we’re glad that it was in use. To learn more about the X-Card, visit this site. http://tinyurl.com/x-card-rpg

All Envoy trainees are sponsored by a senior envoy Who sponsored you and why?
Another Sea folk named Ray Nauticus. He’s an old navy buddy of my Father who now works for the Coast Guard in Aldis. He’s sponsoring me as a favor to my dad.
What is your relationship with your sponsor like?
Very professional, I didn’t see him often growing up. Almost like an estranged uncle who I’m reconnecting with.
Why did you decide to join the Sovereign’s Finest?
It’s Family tradition, everyone on my dad’s side has joined.
What is your relationship like with the other envoys in your circle?
Uula Loves competition and pushing her own limits. She can be a bit of a stick in the mud when it comes to academic related issues. Sometimes she can have a bit of a temper. Being generally open to anyone who’s willing to contribute to her goals.
What activity does your envoy like to do in downtime?
Uula enjoys playing sports, baking , and hiking. She goes to music lounges on the weekend to unwind.
